Julian Natukunda
Postdoctoral Researcher (University of Oxford)
Dr. Julian Natukunda is a global health professional and a postdoctoral researcher, at the University of Oxford. She holds a PhD in International Health from the University of Tokyo.
In her current role on the GH-Solidarity project, Julian contributes to the development of a solidarity index for global health research and funding, alongside stakeholder engagement and research uptake activities.
Previously, she worked on the EU Horizon 2020 ENBEL project at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, conducting research on the health impacts of climate change and implementation of adaptation in the health sector in Africa. She also has experience in health communication, implementation science approaches and knowledge translation which she uses in her research pursuits.
Julian’s interests are centred on engaging in multidisciplinary research initiatives that encompass disease prevention, health policy and equity, and adaptation to the health impacts of climate change. She serves on the steering committee for the Climate and Health Africa Network for Collaboration and Engagement (CHANCE) Network.
